Simone Paoli
Simone Paoli, PhD in History of International Relations from the Università di Firenze, is Assistant Professor at the Università di Pisa, Department of Political Science, where he teaches “History of Transatlantic Relations” and “Mobility, Migrations and European Integration”. He is currently coordinating the Jean Monnet Module “Mobility, Migrations and European Integration” (2020-2023) and the University Research Project “Ten Years of Hopes for a New Europe: Moscow and Brussels from 1985 to 1994” (2020-2022). He worked for the Università di Padova, theUniversità degli Studi Internazionali in Rome, the Université catholique de Louvain, andthe Hans-Böckler-Stiftungin Düsseldorf. He has been Visiting Professor at the Department of Political Science of the Umeå Universitetand the Centre d’histoire de Sciences Poin Paris. He has published widely on the history of European integration, Euro-Mediterranean relations and international organisations.
