Ottavio Quirico, PhD (Université des Sciences Sociales, Toulouse, France), is an Associate Professor at the Australian National University, Centre for European Studies and the University of New England, Law School. He is also a qualified Professor of Italian Universities and a Fernand Braudel Senoir Fellow at the European University Institute, Law Department. He has taught and researched extensively in the areas of international law and relations and EU law and policy. He has lectured in several universities and institutions worldwide, including the London School of Economics and the United Nations. He has been, inter alia, a Marie Curie Fellow at Université Panthéon-Assas, a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute and has acted as a consultant to the United Nations.
